Convergence

Everything that rises will converge. Scientists are doing philosophy; philosophers are speculating on science; a growing recognition that there's poetry in science; complexities and mysteries are just manifestations of ignorance, once understood things look simple and elegant; chaos is change in the making.

A real man is the one who is after knowledge and willing to confront facts and realities and admits he's wrong if his views are no longer consistent with realities. All too often, lesser men force and twist realities to confirm with their views. At bottom, an honest man is honest about everything: himself, the world at large, and ethics. That's why I hold certain Mitchongs (Victor and the like) in contempt for their failure to admit facts and realities into their lives. They are, in essence, dishonest and cowardly and thus contemptible. Only stupid people would respect them. A man's word must mean something good and true, and not as a means to deceive others.

Regarding religion, it was just a crude attempt at the beginning to understand realities. Later on, charlatans used it to seek power over fellow men, a tool to control the thinking of others. If you take the time to study about Jesus, Muhammad, and Buddha, you would find Jesus the least rounded and the most fanatical of the three, and yet his followers slavishly and ironically think he is perfect and "Son" of God. The masses are asses. They are willing to believe in a fiction without taking the time to reflect and ponder if the fiction holds any water.
