Mediocrity and Exceptionality
What really bugs me is seeing mediocre, indistinctive, humdrum scumbags and assholes have an unwarranted high opinion of themselves. These fucking animals have neither sense of objectivity nor respect for truth. The funny thing is that I keep running into this kind of animals all the time.
Guys like Nietzsche and Wittgenstein didn't bother me at all even though they were very arrogant and convinced of their greatness because they did have something to offer to mankind. Nietzsche had a new look about the genealogy of morals, especially about charity and humility while Wittgenstein showed us the bankruptcy of the Aristotelian logic. And then Stephen Hawking demonstrated the power of his mind even while the body it inhabits is being ravaged. I am reading his autobiography and quite amused at the way he wrote subtly about his own greatness without being offensive
On the other other hand, there is a scumbag like VAW who is dumb as shit. She cannot write; cannot read; resorts to obscene, profane, offensive, condescending language when angry; lives on charitable handouts; and has no intellectual curiosity none whatsoever and yet the bitch fucking fancies she is a lady. Lady, my ass!
Or take case of an asshole named VT who cannot write poetry in any language ( he "knows " two and only barely: his mother tongue and English) and who is ignorant, but that doesn't deter him from pontificating about poetry translation and sundry subjects of which he does not have a fucking clue.
There are many scumbags and assholes like VAW and VT in this world. I know them personally and have not ceased being amazed by creatures like them. It would take at least 50 pages to chronicle my encounters with them. I am telling you, I don't regard them as humans.
