Sometimes I wonder
Sometimes I wonder whether
certain people with whom I happen to interact
are really fools as they appear to be
or they just pretend to be so,
because I find it hard to believe
how they can be so self-righteous with others
and yet so blind about themselves.
Don't they have eyes?
Can't they think?
Or is it because they're cowards at heart,
refusing to see the truth for what it is.
