Khmer Rouge, Power, and Homicide, let alone Genocide

I didn't plan to watch a documentary on Khmer Rouge. I was just flipping channels and bam! misguided and stupid savages on the screen, killing and torturring their compatriots with a bloodlust unforeseen heretofore in modern times. At least the Nazis didn't kill the Germans. They killed Jews and  other"undesirables". 

In humans, Lust for power and Hate are two traits that are worthy to be contemplated about.
