Ngược thời gian, trở về quá khứ phút giây chạnh lòng

Bao nhiêu kỷ niệm, bao nhiêu ân tình chỉ còn lại con số không

Ai thương ai rồi và ai quên nhau rồi

Trong suốt cuộc đời tương lai trả lời thôi

Một mùa xuân, năm nào hai đứa ngắm hoa đào rơi

Lo cho số phận, lo cho duyên mình sẽ thành một kiếp hoa

Sớm nở tối tàn, đời ai không một lần

Quen biết rồi thương yêu nhau rồi lại xa

To go back in time, to think of the past is making me all stirred up inside.

All those memories of love and affection resulted in a big nothing.

Time will answer the questions in the remainder of our lives: 

Who still loves whom and who already forgot whom?

In a spring of long time ago, you and I watched peach blossoms falling

and wondered if our love would be the same as the flowers:

Blooming early and then fading away quickly, like who wouldn't once

meet someone, fell in love, and then had to walk away when things got sour

So that was it, and so it was, the past was only poetry.

We brought it home, gave it some music, and it became love melody

So that was it, and so it was.

Now I only dream much.

I don't know when I'll be again graced by a love touch. 

The day we said goodbye, we didn't get to say all what we wanted to say.

Five years of separation, five years of weary longing and pining for a lost love 

I can't help feeling blue in thinking of the love going astray.

Once more I'm jotting down in my journal that I still love you.
